Mikao Usui, Father of Usui Reiki What is Reiki?Reiki is a practice and system of spiritual transformation discovered by Mikao Usui. Reiki, which is a Japanese term for "universal life energy", is channeled through the practitioner's hands for self-use or for application on others. Reiki can be used for creating harmony, wellness, and personal change. As a transformational energy it has been known to propel individuals further along their spiritual path, clarify understanding of life's purpose, heighten intuition, and create a more authentic relationship with the Divine Creator. Those who have received Reiki typically report enhanced peace and overall well-being.I personally have experienced so many wonderful benefits from Reiki, such as increased energy, manifestation of life dreams, and enhanced abundance to name a few, that I was compelled to work full time in the industry to share this gift with others. What is provided in your Usui Reiki Course?This course teaches you everything you need to learn in order to be a successful Reiki Master Teacher, with the ability to teach and perform Reiki on others. Our Usui Reiki course provides a manual written by Dawn Rothwell, Reiki Master Teacher and President of the Institute, who has performed over 3,500 Reiki attunements locally and distantly over the last seven years. This is NOT merely an attunement procedure that you are purchasing, but an in-depth accredited, ABMP approved course complete with certification and authentic lineage. You will have unlimited lifetime access to a fully trained Reiki Master via email, telephone, and local visits if you are or plan to be in the Lawrence, KS area at no additional cost. You will receive all the attunements, the symbols, and complete instruction in the fundamentals of Reiki. Students are required to perform hands on practice sessions on yourself and others and record your results. You are expected to stay in contact regularly throughout the program with your teacher, and are encouraged to continue that contact when complete. As stated above, I have personally performed well over 3,500 distance and in person attunements over the last seven years, and regardless of the method they select, all students were empowered with Reiki. How does this happen? There is a distance symbol offered to the Usui Reiki student in Level 2, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, the "Distance Reiki symbol", that empower Masters to send Reiki energy as well as attunements distantly. But don't take my word for it. Here is just one person's account of her distant attunement experience, in her own words. "I felt warm when the session began. I went to my meditation room and laid down. I felt my stomach un-knot. I began to feel like I was floating. I had a few sensations of falling (which is incredible and I have learned this to mean that I have had a major release of some negative or stale energy).
